Shocking! ₦1000 naira note with a Biafran stamp [Photo]

The iReporter in a mail said the ₦1000 note was inside the ₦10,000 he withdrew from an ATM machine but did not discover it until he was about spending the money.

 

This morning, we received an anonymous photo email through our CityTimes iReport page of a ₦1000 naira with a stamp on it reading “FREE BIAFRA”

This to some people might not sound serious considering the fact that some Nigerians most times write all sorts of things on the naira and people still spend them. We have even seen cases where some bank tellers write on the naira when counting money, the only difference with this one is that it was stamped on purpose with a message and one can only imagine how many of those notes have the stamp on them out there.
